Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Our extremely experienced and helpful local Health Visitor is Mrs Claire Robinson.

Health Visitor drop-in clinics run at the surgery on the 1st Thursday of every month between 10:30am - 12pm.

- Springfield Centre, Beechfield Road, Corsham SN13 9DN (on Tuesdays between 1:30pm - 3:30pm)
Crumpets Café, Portal Avenue, Corsham SN13 0LQ (on 1st Wednesday of every month between 10:30am - 11:30am)
- Spring Rise Children’s Centre, Frogwell, Chippenham SN14 0DH (on Thursdays between 11am - 12:30pm)

Psychology Services

Wiltshire IAPT (Improved Access to Psychological Services) is the interface for Psychology Services provided by the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust.

A leaflet with contact details is available through reception.

An appointment to see a Practitioner can be made by either by phoning 01380 731335 or e-mail

If needed, arrangements can be made for patients to meet with Community Psychiatric Nurses or Community Specialist Nurses within the practice.
