The previous login/form for requesting repeat prescriptions is no longer operational - this service ceased on 31st July 2020.

We have been displaying messages for the past couple of years about phasing this system out and in the past few months have advised that it will cease from the end of July 2020.

Please see information below about how to continue ordering your repeat medication online. [if you already have a Patient Access account or use the NHS smartphone app, please ignore this message]

Repeat Prescriptions

medication4It is now possible to order your repeat prescriptions online by directly accessing your medical record through an online service called 'Patient Access' which links directly to our practice clinical software system. You can also book GP appointments online and view some parts of your medical record.

If you have previously ordered your prescriptions online through an online website portal, this service has now ceased. We have been recommending for some time now that patients register for Patient Access, via Reception, as this is the preferred and more efficient method or ordering.
Alternatively, if you have a smartphone, you can download the new NHS app which allows you to register for an online account without visiting the practice.

Please register for a Patient Access online account the next time you are at the surgery or download the NHS app. We will require photo ID when registering patients for Patient Access. This is for security purposes to ensure that access to the correct record is given.

More details can be found on our 'Online Services' page which includes the new NHS App which will allow you to register for Online Services without coming in to the practice.

You can also drop in to the surgery your paper repeat slip with a tick beside the items you require.

Dispensing

We have a Dispensary at the practice. This is not the same as a Community Pharmacy and allows us to dispense medicines from the surgery to those patients that live more than one mile from a Pharmacy/Chemist.

If you are a dispensing patient at the practice, we can offer to automatically issue your repeat medication again the following month without you needing to request it. Please mention this to our staff when collecting, if we do not already do this for you.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.

If for some reason you need medication urgently, and it is outside of our dispensary opening hours, please contact 111 for assistance. Alternatively, you may contact one of the local pharmacies who may be able to help.
