We are trialling a new online product called Doctorlink. Designed by doctors, Doctorlink enables you to manage your care needs remotely, where appropriate, providing advice on how to best manage your symptoms.
You can check your symptoms online, at any time (day or night), and receive clinically approved medical advice to help get you to the right place based on your clinical need. You may be directed to a pharmacy, dentist, GP at the practice, Minor Injuries Unit or A&E.
You may wish to use Doctorlink if the practice is closed and you’re not sure what to do about your specific symptoms. In an emergency, always call 999.
This may be particularly useful to patients given the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

How does it work?
- Doctorlink uses a 'Symptom Assessment' tool, created and regularly updated by doctors, to complete triage on patients who access the practice online looking for advice or urgent/same day help. Patients are asked a series of clinical questions based on their concern/illness.
- The outcomes of the symptom assessment are processed according to the clinical need
- The practice will receive a copy of the symptom assessment highlighting the required action needed
- Doctorlink can be accessed from any PC, laptop, mobile phone or tablet device, 7 days a week and from any location
