In linking with Chippenham parkrun and certified by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), we are pleased to announce that Jubilee Field Surgery has become a ‘parkrun practice’.
What is ‘parkrun’?
parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs around the UK. They are open to everyone, free, and are safe and easy to take part in.
These events take place in pleasant parkland surroundings and encourage people of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; everyone is welcome. You can walk, jog, run or even volunteer to help at the event.

‘parkrun practice’
The aim of becoming a ‘parkrun practice’ is to help improve the health and wellbeing of both our patients and staff. Additionally to spread the word of this fantastic, free event which is organised weekly by volunteers.
The Chippenham parkrun event takes place in Monkton Park, Chippenham every Saturday morning at 9am (all parkrun events around the UK start at 9am on Saturdays). More information about Chippenham parkrun can be found at the link above.
